  • Nissan Traitors Rock Goodwood Festival of Speed

The Goodwood Festival of Speed 2009 saw EDGE deliver an exciting and daring event for Nissan. EDGE designed a gritty, raw and rebellious stand utilising industrial shipping containers to emphasise Nissan’s 'traitors' concept to market its new sports cars. Sprayed oil drums and burnouts in the floor created from a 370z doing 'doughnuts', gave an authentic and visionary feel to the stand which was created to 'choose not to fit in' with other manufacturers.

EDGE headed up the concept, visualisation and delivery of the stand from stand production and build through to event staffing and data capture.

The stand offered a traitors bar serving complimentary drinks, a GTR merchandise shop and a traitors area for visitors to graffiti their own traitors messages. And to ensure visitors were given a true ‘traitors’ experience, loud anarchy inspired tunes were pumped out at full blast!

Delighted visitors were impressed with the refreshing approach that went against the grain of Nissan’s competitors who chose a more traditional and corporate exhibition. One visitor commented that (the stand showed) "Excellent attitude. Tough trouble maker feel and great tone of voice!"

Nissan themselves were incredibly pleased with the success of the show, going so far as declaring it the most successful stand they had ever delivered.
